Librarian Safonova Alina M. Vladimir Branch Library RASS provides library and information management training - the educational process and research activities of the university. In accordance with its tasks, the library: On 1 January 2011 the Library of 35 000 items, including: - Books - more than 20 000 copies.; - Periodicals - more than 7000 copies.; - Educational - teaching materials - 5,600 copies.; - Dissertation abstracts - more than 1600 copies. Acquisition Fund is subject to the special and available at the branch of specialization: - State and municipal management; - Finance and credit. The library participates in ongoing in the branch office, conferences, seminars, round-table discussions. Organizes book exhibitions, prepares bibliographies of literature. At present we are working on creating an electronic catalog. Purchased and installed an automated information-library system (AILS) "MARK - SQL», which will automate library processes based on the latest information technologies to improve the efficiency of research work of students and faculty affiliate. The library has access to the network Internet, allowing users to access local and global information resources, to corporate information resources branch of the (legal reference database "Consultant +").
